It’s that time again, where we have to bid farewell to summer and start making that transition to fall (you know all things pumpkin), so why not send summer out with a bang! We have compiled the best DIY Labor Day cocktails to help send off summer in style. So if you are planning a Labor Day get together this year, here are some quick and easy recipes (and not to mention super yummy) that will be sure to be a crowd pleaser!
Watermelon Sangria- Talk about a way to send off summer in style, this delicious sangria is the perfect salute, after all what is more summery than watermelon? Just be sure to prepare this about 2 hours ahead of time.

Rum Sunset- One sip of this rum infused cocktail and you are instantly reminded of your days in the sun! Something about rum that just makes you feel like you are on vacation in the tropics. A few simple ingredients and you have a crowd pleaser!

The Jalapina- A little spicy but oh so good! The combination of whiskey and pineapples is just to good. We love the extra kick that the jalapeños add but you can always leave this off if spicy is not your thing!

Jungle Bird- A classic tropical sipper that is beyond delish! Pineapple, rum a little lime and some Campri = Yes please. This delightful cocktail can also be made frozen and quite honestly, they are both great choices. Sipping this definatley makes you want to hold onto summer just a bit longer.

Blue Hawaii- Why not send summer off with vibrant tropical sipper. Vodka and light rum form the boozy base, while blue curaçao adds its signature color and pineapple juice and sweet-and-sour mix sweeten it all up. Taste the tropics and keep summer alive for the moment, at least.
Here is to a fabulous Labor Day weekend! Take the time and enjoy some of these fabulous cocktails as we have one last summer shin dig. Not hosting this year but still want to bring a delicious beverage? No problem, just load up your PortoVino and let the fun begin. Cheers to a great summer and looking forward to sipping on those pumpkin spice cocktails in the coming weeks!
